Reuse and life extension are essential for a more sustainable textile chain. At JOSH V, we create items with a timeless look and feel made from high-quality materials that last. By working with natural tones, which recur regularly in our collections, you can endlessly combine our items with each other. To ensure that our clothes last even longer, JOSH V encourages its consumers to treat their clothes in a good way. Therefore, JOSH V has, among other things, together with ReShare, opened sewing workshops in six ReShare Stores in the Netherlands. In these ReShare Stores we offer a free repair service for JOSH V customers. This is possible thanks to a donation from JOSH V for the purchase of sewing and lock machines in these stores. JOSH V customers can use this repair service for free in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven, Tilburg and Deventer. In this way, JOSH V and ReShare are working together towards a more sustainable textile chain.

We believe that it is essential to work together in making JOSH V more sustainable. ReShare strives for a circular textile chain and does this by reusing clothes as locally as possible (e.g. in the ReShare Stores) and recycling non-saleable clothes and textiles. So ReShare possesses a lot of knowledge in the field of circularity and we like to learn from this. Also, ReShare is part of the Salvation Army and as a foundation is a non-profit organization. The ReShare stores employ volunteers - people with a vulnerable position on the labor market - who are highly skilled in realizing clothes recovery and repair work. These volunteers include refugees who, by working as tailors/coupees in the ReShare stores, integrate into the store team and get a better feel for the Dutch language and society, with the goal of moving on to paid work at dry cleaners. In this way, JOSH V empowers its own customer and ReShare's mission to extend the life of clothing in the Netherlands.
Make sure your items are washed and dry and that your pockets are empty. Bring the buttons provided so they can be used in the repair. If necessary, bring a bag to drop off at the ReShare Store so your garment can be stored in it.
If the seamstress has time immediately when you visit the ReShare Store, in most cases the garment can be repaired immediately. If the seamstress is absent or the repair time is +10 minutes, an indication will be given on the spot as to when the item can be picked up again. Repairing the garment takes an average of 7 to 9 business days from the time it is returned to the ReShare Store. Please note that public holidays (e.g. Whit Sunday) do not count as working days and it may take longer. In case of an alternative pick-up date, a new pick-up appointment will be scheduled with you/the customer by phone.
The textile industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world. By reusing more clothes, less needs to be produced and this contributes to a healthier world. So you too can make a difference by using our repair service and wearing your clothes longer!
If in doubt about a manufacturing defect, please contact our JOSH V customer service first. For more information on warranty and complaints, please refer to our guarantees and complaints page.
All JOSH V garments are included in the free service offered, with the exception of jewellery, accessories, bags, tights, shoes, ‘garment care’ and JOSH V Home. These products are not covered by the service. All non-JOSH V garments can be repaired for a fee.
Anyone may use the repair service and thereby increase the proportion of rewearable textiles in the industry. For non-JOSH V garments, ReShare applies an accessible rate. The proceeds enable them to continue their work: contributing to a circular textile chain, offering beautiful, affordable clothing and providing fair opportunities and suitable employment for all.
The employee at the ReShare Store in question will record your name, surname, postcode, email and phone number for the purpose of the repair service.

Yes, you can! Turn in your bag of old clothes to the ReShare Store. Salvation Army ReShare strives for a circular textile chain, equal opportunities for all and beautiful, affordable clothing for everyone. The clothes you turn in will help them achieve this. What can happen to the clothing: it is given away for emergency relief, it is sold at social prices in one of their own ReShare Stores, it is sold to sorters or other thrift stores, or it is recycled.
