You don’t need to wash denim often. This helps preserve the authentic, casual look we all love. Thanks to its strong and durable quality, washing it just a few times per season is usually enough. You can treat stains locally, and to keep your denim fresh, simply air it out in between wears.
Wash denim as cold as possible, inside out, with similar colors, at a maximum of 30°C and 800–1000 RPM. Use a mild detergent, preferably one for denim. Choose a delicate cycle or hand
wash. Be careful with light-colored surfaces and when wearing with light-colored clothing, as denim may bleed.
Avoid using the dryer, as the heat can cause shrinkage, fade the colour of your denim or wash, and damage the elasticity of stretch fabrics.
Let denim air dry on a line or hanger, away from direct sunlight. The weight of the fabric also helps smooth out wrinkles.
Iron denim if necessary at a maximum of 110°C, inside out.
Want to remove light wrinkles? Use a handheld steamer on low (80–100°C), keeping a distance of 3–5 cm from the fabric to preserve color and texture. With our Handheld Steamer (Cirrus X), wrinkles disappear in no time and your clothes are fresh again!
Tip: Use a GUPPYFRIEND washing bag (available at JOSH V) to protect your denim and reduce microfiber shedding. Please note that this washing bag is mainly suitable for garments made with synthetic fibers, such as polyester, and is therefore especially ideal to use when washing items that contain polyester.
Clean leather bags, shoes, and clothing locally with a slightly damp cloth. Leather does not react well to water or soap It can dry out, lose suppleness, and even crack.
Treat leather immediately after purchase with a protective spray to create a water-repellent layer. Reapply regularly (1–2 times per season) to keep it beautiful and supple. Occasionally use care cream, conditioner, or colorless shoe polish. Applies to shoes, bags, and leather clothing.
Let wet leather dry at room temperature, away from direct heat sources.
Hang leather clothing on a wide hanger to maintain shape. Avoid folding or stuffing, as this may cause creases.
Do not iron leather. Heat can cause shiny spots, stains, or deformation. Want to remove light wrinkles? Use a handheld steamer (60–80°C), distance 3–5 cm. With our Handheld Steamer (Cirrus X), wrinkles disappear and your clothing is fresh.
Tip: Use wooden shoe trees to maintain shape of leather shoes and reduce creases from wear.
Wool does not need to be washed after every wear. Fibers have a natural protective layer that repels dirt and dust. Air out garments to refresh them.
Avoid washing machine and dryer, as these can damage fibers and cause shrinkage and deformation. May cause pilling — normal for wool.
Want to wash? Cold, hand wash, inside out. No fabric softener. Remove excess water from heavy garments, do not wring.
Steaming is a good alternative. Especially suitable for wool: refreshes, removes odors, smooths wrinkles. Use handheld steamer (60–80°C), distance 3–5 cm, do not press directly. With our Handheld Steamer (Cirrus X), wrinkles disappear instantly.
Always dry wool flat on a towel, to maintain shape. Store folded in drawers with mothballs. Use wool comb and fabric shaver for pilling.
Tip: Small snags? With Wonder Needle, repaired instantly.
Wash viscose as cold as possible, inside out, and at a maximum of 30°C and 400–600 RPM. Use a mild detergent and choose a delicate wash cycle, or wash cold by hand.
After washing, viscose may feel heavy and stiff. This is normal. Iron the garment inside out to reshape it at a maximum of 110°C so it regains its original length and softness, and to prevent shrinking and creasing.
Avoid the dryer and do not wring, as this can damage the fibers or distort the fabric.
Let viscose air-dry, preferably flat on a towel, or otherwise on a clothesline or hanger out of direct sunlight.
Tip: It’s best to iron your viscose items while the fabric is still slightly damp.
