When washing synthetic clothes, such as polyester, plastic fibres break down. Washing machines and sewage treatment plants cannot filter these small microfibres out of the water, so they end up in the waste water. This is not only bad for animals and nature, but it also ends up in the food chain.

With the GUPPYFRIEND laundry bag, you can prevent this from happening. The laundry bag reduces friction on the surface of the textile and thus prevents fibres from breaking. The fibres that do break, accumulate in the corners of the bag. This can then be disposed of in the waste bin, so it does not end up in rivers or oceans. So with this durable laundry bag, you extend the life of your clothes and protect the environment at the same time.

Instructions for use:

- Fill the bag to about 2/3, allowing the items in the bag to move around during the wash.

- Fill the washing machine with other non-synthetic items or add a second filled GUPPYFRIEND laundry bag to avoid imbalance.

- Wash at a maximum of 40 degrees.

- Use liquid detergent (preferably natural detergent without synthetic substances).

- Remove the worst dirt before washing.

- Close the laundry bag with the zip.

Care instructions to prevent damage to the laundry bag:

- Do not add sharp objects to the laundry bag.

- Do not iron.

- Do not tumble dry.

- Do not hang or dry the laundry bag in direct sunlight to avoid damage to the material.
