The journey our clothing makes, from material to your wardrobe, plays a major role in its footprint. That’s why we minimize the distance our items travel and keep packaging to a minimum.

Trimco packaging partnership


Together with our long-term trim and packaging partner Trimco Group, we developed a completely renewed hangtag package and new brand labels. Each element was carefully reconsidered in terms of materials, print, and necessity. The result is a package that better reflects JOSH V today.

 Our partnership with Trimco Group, which is highlighted in this interview, has been central to making this kind of evolution possible. They advise on better material choices and keep us compliant while packaging regulations rapidly change.

Shipping to consumers in EU


We are proud to offer eco-friendly delivery options. By working closely with our logistics partners, we’re making more sustainable choices such as DHL and Budbee easier than ever.

 Today

  • Over 80% of JOSH V items are packed with a fully automatic packaging machine that reduces waste and improves spatial efficiency.  

  • In 2023, 8% of our customers chose climate-neutral shipping with Budbee. While this option was temporarily unavailable in 2024 due to system updates, we’re excited to reintroduce it in 2025 with Budbee parcel lockers

  • More than 8% of our customers choose climate-neutral shipping with Budbee

  • We’re supporting our logistics partner DHL in their mission to achieve 100% fossil-free deliveries in the Netherlands by 2030.  

Packaging


When it comes to packaging, less is more. We’ve streamlined our process to use as little material as possible, without compromising the quality and care JOSH V pieces deserve.   

Today  

  • Together with our long-term trim and packaging partner Trimco Group, we completely renewed hangtag, packages and brand labels. Each element was carefully reconsidered in terms of materials, print, and necessity.  

  • Since 2021, our warehouse uses a packaging system that automatically adjusts the size of each box, eliminating excess air and reducing waste. 

  • We no longer provide extra buttons and button bags with our garments. Need an extra button? No problem, just reach out to our Customer Service or visit one of our Brandstores.   

Tomorrow 

  • Our next challenge is reducing the volume of plastic used in shipping altogether. We are currently exploring our options to reduce our plastic usage from 2027 onwards. 

Returns


Returns are a challenge for the planet and our business. That’s why we are taking steps to minimize them and make the process more sustainable. 

Today

  • Having a brandstore gives us a lot of valuable insights about why clients return items.

  • Our size guide, detailed product information, and dedicated customer service team help you choose the right fit, right away.  

  • We’ve added secure warning tags to prevent returns of worn clothing.  

  • Returned items are repackaged, their old packaging is recycled.  

  • To raise awareness, we charge €4.99 per return shipment, plus €1 per returned item, fee, with 10% donated to a cause.  

  • We are working with Returnless to access even more data on returns.

Tomorrow

  • We’ll continue to educate our customers about the environmental impact of returns.
