Recycled polyester

Recycled polyester is created by melting down an existing plastic and re-spinning it into a new polyester fiber. It gives non-biodegradable fabrics a second life. Qualitatively, recycled polyester is almost the same as polyester. The major difference is that recycled polyester takes less energy to produce. In addition, it is estimated that the production of recycled polyester will significantly reduce CO2 emissions compared to polyester.
